This is for quick, sloppy, heavyhanded edits. If you're in the market for a professional photo editing app, let me save you some time and storage space: Filterloop isn't it. Calling Filterloop a professional tool is like calling a tricycle a Formula 1 race car – sure, they both have wheels, but that's where the similarities end. Filterloop may dazzle you with its array of pre-set filters and flashy effects, but when it comes to the nitty-gritty of true photo editing finesse, this app falls flat on its pixelated face. Trying to achieve professional results with Filterloop is like trying to sculpt a masterpiece with a butter knife – you're just not going to get the precision and control you need. If you're serious about your photography and demand top-notch editing capabilities, Filterloop will leave you feeling like you showed up to a black-tie event in a clown costume. Save yourself the frustration and invest in a tool that's truly up to the task. After all, your photos deserve better than a half-baked filter frenzy.

Loving this app for adding overlays and blend mode textures. However, when I click on a "download" filter option, I just get taken to a new page with an error message that says, "Warning: Connection timed out" so I can't access a large portion of app options. I'm a paid user, too. Would love some support on this! Thanks.

i love filterloop and i hate to write this review. i’ve used this app for SO MANY projects, and it worked like a charm…until one fateful day back in the day there were two filterloop apps: a free and a paid version. i bought the paid version and also bought all of the in-app content on top of that because i loved it so much…i’ve used it since 2016 or 2017 i believe. but just a few days ago, it was uninstalled from my phone because the app was taken off of the app store. i couldn’t believe it! so i went and searched for it…and i found that the free version is still available, but if you want the full version, you have to pay $5 a month. i don’t have $5 a month for this…i don’t make any money off my art, this is all just for fun. but i bought the app, i paid for it with my own money…and they just took it away. it’s like if i bought a TV and someone came and took my TV because it was outdated i’m extremely disappointed and dissatisfied, and i’m working on trying to either reinstall the original app i already paid for or finding a completely new app instead because this is just wrong. i love you filterloop and i will miss you dearly if i can’t get you back :( <3

This app was great back in the day. I purchased the rest of the filters to have full access. Now I can’t use the filters I’ve purchased or any of the features without paying the weekly/yearly fee. Restoring the purchase is an absolute JOKE. This app was already slow but now it’s just bloatware. Don’t even waste your time on this app.

God I love this app

If I could give this app less than one star would, I really don’t know why anyone would download or even use this app it doesn’t do anything appreciably better than free photo apps or ones that you can buy and aren’t sucking money out of your pocket like a vampire (I really like the balls of this developer offering you a free trial that requires you to sign up so if you forget to cancel you will be charged even if you dump the app). Just download Snapseed so far I haven’t found anything better and it’s free!

You can’t really do anything on this app without paying for it. There are many other photo editing apps available that allows you to make neat edits to your pictures for free.

The prices listed in the App Store description are inaccurate… it says 4.99 per week whereas the actual app says 7.99 per week. There is also no part of the app that may be accessed without signing up for a 3 day free trial, after which you are charged. If you are under the impression that there is a free portion of the app that can be tried out before upgrading, that is incorrect.

I haven’t even got to try this app since they’re breaking Apples rules, making you sign up before you even try it out! ALSO- if you read their description here in App Store it says $4.99/week, $29.99/year. LIE! Before you can try anything they demand you pay $7.99/week or $40.99/year! This right here SCREAMS scammers! So they just lost me before they even had me! Hopefully if enough of us who are FED UP with these shady, greedy developers all continue to report these crap apps, then maybe just maybe Apple will finally buckle up on their requirements, etc & kick these scammers outta here!

This app does not let you try without signing up. Apple should take this app down as that is a violation of their policy

This app first had me thinking it was just gonna be another copy and paste editing app. But this app was actually a whole lot better then I expected. So many options for filters and gives a lot of ways to get those little details perfect in every photo. Definitely 10/10.

It won’t allow me to choose more photos and when you get inside the app you have to download more thing to your phone . They tricked me.

This app charged my phone weekly when I hadn’t even downloaded the app!!

I've been using this app for years now, and loved it so much that I paid for all the available filters and addons at the time. And of course, another app had to be ruined by a subscription service. I can no longer use the tools that we're available when I originally supported this thing and now its as terrible as any other paid filter app. Good job guys!
